That IS very nice indeed! I may need to have a word with you about artwork for my upcoming rulebook... well i'm on an 80s box art kick. I guess i'm just feeling nostalgic lately. I was thinking I might do something with a D7 or a Loknar soon. Currently I'm messing wiht a Vulture for a battletech box.

It looks real. And it looks so much more authentically Trek than ANYTHING JJ has put out so far.
Thanks for that.

Movie quality is right. I could imagine that being a still shot from a film. It is indeed that good.
If only we could make it...

I actually thought I was looking at a screen shot from a movie when I first saw the ship. I wish you could do a counter set like that.

I have a base model which I used to set up the scene, prep lighting, establish perspective, etc., that model was brought to a point where it could possibly be finished for printing, but because it is way less detail and so on it would be a pile of work to set up a block out like that for top down hex counters. Not impossible, but a lot of work lol. This work is a technique that is 50% model, 50% painting.

So, did you paint this in physical medium or digital medium?
