I suspect that most Klingon ships are fitted for limited combat at least.

This design was based on the Eaglemoss pictures of the new klink ships of Discovery. Upon seeing the pics, I decided the ship should be a freighter-type design...And as JAFisher has correctly deduced, Klingon freighters should, by definition, be generally more combat capable than their contemporaries fielded by other species. Needless to say, I opted for an Auxiliary Cruiser of old, as it seemed to fit the bill perfectly. Auxiliary Cruisers are by their very nature merchant ships that can fight. |

These are smashing designs - have you ever sketched out any Klingon shuttle designs? This is one that does not see enough light - the Eaves shuttle designs leave me wanting...  |

I think the 3d printing software would blow a gasket! Also atolm i'm digging the split boom section on the freighter. |

I keep coming back to this thread - these are some of the nicest Klingon designs I recall seeing. The aesthetics are amazing and lineage is extremely clear.
