Crap! Ok, give me a few hours (I'm about to head out the door) and I'll add parts credit to the images and repost.
As far as design goes, that's a freaky coincidence. I don't recall ever seeing the design you mention. I built all those designs from scratch, first Minuteman, then everything else evolving from it.
ETA: Pulled the old images...will upload and repost once I've corrected the credits.

As far as design goes, that's a freaky coincidence. I don't recall ever seeing the design you mention. I built all those designs from scratch, first Minuteman, then everything else evolving from it. B.S. The Minuteman uses the Olympia as its base image. This image illustrates the fact nicely. 1) Dorsal View: You can see here on the rear corners the remnants where you cut away the warp engines. 2) Port View: You can see here where you tried to remove the warp pylons. 3) Bow View: Here you can see that slightly rounded corner is squared off by the remnants of the warp pylon. The Olympia is a ship I created using parts from Vance's Toolkits and parts from his Northampton schematic. As I said before, the only parts on the whole ship that are new are the bow torp launcher, the pylons, and the warp engines. I don't mind you using or modifying my images, but I have told you before, if you include any credits at all, please credit my work too. Claiming that you "don't recall ever seeing the design" when you obviously used it as the base for your design just pisses me off.

JA, I built that thing from parts up.
I collect ship designs as a hobby, my files contain many 100s of ships at this point. It was probably inevitable that sooner or later I would accidentally came out with something similar to one someone else did.
Please stop accusing me of something I did not in fact do. I did not set out to "steal" your design. Yes, I used your part (you've never had a problem with others using your parts before to my knowledge) and when you pointed out that I had omitted credit to you for the part, I amended the credits on the images to reflect your contribution. Click on my image links above and you can see that that is clearly the case.
What more can I do?
*Edit to add* I have de-thumbnailed the images back to full size so that everyone can clearly see that I have amended the credits on all the affected images I am aware of needing correction at this time.
I will check the remainder of the thread, and will also amend any other images that may have not been properly credited, though I do not expect there to be any others.

That gif I made shows exactly how you made the ship. you cut off my nacelles and added your own on long horizontal pylons. I appreciate that you updated the credits on the image. What I took exception to was your claim that you never even saw the Olympia when you clearly did. You had to. Your ship contains the whole design with only the nacelles removed. The similarities between the two ships are not a freaky coincidence when you copy/pasted 90% of my ship into your image.

In this case, it makes up the bulk of the design, so we have a situation where the end results looked very close to each other. (Much like anything simple based on a Reliant hull is going to look much like a Reliant.) All I am saying is that I did not consciously recall what your original design looked like. I have too many designs in my collection, and too many parts as well. If you would like, I am perfectly willing to add a special "original design" credit to the notice, as I did with the Chaffee. I do not desire to have hard feelings between us. Please let me know how you wish me to proceed.

Please gentelmen do not fight... I am having trouble keeping straight who made what parts in my parts files... Romulas, one way to keep it straight (one I usually do) is to either put a little note on the part file image itself in the corner with the artist's name or put the artist's name in the file name itself. If I can ever find the time, I may pull all of my non-"pure" Vance parts to their own pages by artist just to be safe.

That is what I have been trying to get done. I also have a file called "Fan Designs" and then individual files with the artist name. I am however creating large sheets of parts for easier reference with artist name with the part. I wish I had began doing this years ago.

USS Republic as she appeared in after her 5th refit (2277) If I have mis-attributed the base Phase II Connie, someone please let me know and I can change the credits. She was "loose" in my files and the attribution is my best guess
