Like the plated version. And are those turrets representing the Gorn blaster weapons? Mark

Yeah, the original image's blasters-at least I thought they were the blasters- didnt match in terms of number and firing arcs. The front set I converted to missile launchers, just for consistency. Thanks

I had inspiration to do an ENT era destroyer during the rom war Applause! Well drawn and back-storied.

Nicely done as always. I like how it has a little of the FASA Brenton look to the primary hull! BTW, where are the stats from the components from? Mark

Thanks guys, much appreciated! Yeah, I always liked the Brenton saucer. I did something similar in an earlier design, and thought it would look good forr this idea I had. I really tried to look for charts for the era. Steve Bacon has a really good set of charts he did some years ago, but it dated before Enterprise and stats that I found for the NX didn't seem to fit my needs. I wound up reverse engineering Lee Woods chartless spreadsheet and combining it with Bryan Jeckos sheet to come up with something thats a little less hair pulling. The calculations are accurate, but the names and types i literally pulled out of my ass. Besides, i didnt want to design a entire st of charts just for one or two designs!

@ rarcher , thanks! After 10 years or so, I finally went out on a limb and did my own stats for the NX cruiser. I used the same combination system with the Detroit class to generate the numbers. Overall, I'm pleased with the outcomes with the ships. NX Class VI Cruiser.pdf (437 KB)

I got really enthusiastic about St Axanar the other day and did a redraw of the Ares. I know there are the official draws out there, but I just wanted one with the seperate pieces and scaled etc.

A couple more for ST Axanar - as a side note, some images from the axanar site have these designations reversed

Cool Schematics Look like there based on Vance's ship bits

Weeellll... they're about the same SCALE as the Vance bitkits, and they are bits to be sure! Richter did a fine job blending JJ Trek with TOS. The saucer is a re-scaled kelvin saucer that I did in 2009. The engines are a composite of Tobias' Ares engine and pieces of a connie engine scaled to match. The only things "new" are the roll bar/torpedo pods...The whole thing was kinda hard because I had trouble getting decent side views, but for my purposes, Ithink they came out ok!
Thanks Nathan!

Thanks. Very nice ships. They all look like they would perform well in a combat role.

Thanks! I had to guess for much of the armaments, but we wont get much of an idea what these ships can do until the movie comes out.
