Is the Jackie Hopps supposed to float? I'm guessing that's the purpose of the sponsons under the wings. Just regarding the Astrid Kreutzer Class; I'd have thought anti-grav tech would negate the need for displacement hulls. Still, what you could do is apply the same principle that lifts '3-point' hydroplane racing boats out of the water; they have a sponson on each side, and a flat plane in between. As the hydroplane gathers speed, air compresses beneath the plane, generating lift. In essence, the boat runs upon a cushion of air just off the surface of the water, balancing between the sponsons and the propshaft at the stern. (Hence '3 point' - three points of contact with the water.) Here's a link to an Italian page providing a look at the designs. I'm quite fascinated by these racing boats, and their lines are pure sex on water. threepointhydroplanes.it

ha! I have to hand it to you, your hybrid designs are better than most originals. The Barb class is VERY cool, fitting tribute to Man's best friend, rest in peace over that rainbow bridge.

A federation " B-Wing"? Shocking at first, but it does grow on you rather quickly. Nice!
