Hey all, wanted to put all we have discovered into one place. I felt guilty kind of highjacking trynda's thread about miniatures. For Attack Wing you can make custom hex bases that fit attack wing ships. Otherwise they make some peg toppers for an easy conversion: litko.net/products/space-fighter-peg-toppers-10

Bumping: I just got a tube of Litko's "craftics 33" which is a solid acrylic cement! With this I can anchor some magnets to the base of the models or some of litko's peg rings where appropriate: litko.net/search?type=product&q=craftics+%2333&_=pf&pf_pt_product_type=GlueNo drilling required. Now you have a way to custom mount Attack Wing style ships onto your hex flight stands (via a fighter peg topper) and a way to glue a ring/magnet/custom mount onto the base of the ship! My next order are some stands from woomera for my rare fasa designs and the micromachines.

I felt guilty kind of highjacking trynda's thread about miniatures. rabidNo need to worry, it was a legitimate mini related question. Maybe we should ask JAFisher44 to make this thread a sticky, for information purposes? I've gone thru the links I posted in the Shapeways thread, to check they are still valid, and updated any needing done. So here are some links for various stands, mostly the plastic one-inch hex flight stands, accurate for January 2019... eM4 Miniatures (updated link) em4miniatures.com/collections/bases-1ADB / Starfleet Games (makers of SFB/Federation Commander etc, updated link) www.starfleetstore.com/miniature-stands-c-105/Element Games (UK source) elementgames.co.uk/wargames-and-miniatures/bases-for-miniatures/flying-bases-for-miniatures/flying-basesBrigade Models (another UK source) www.brigademodels.co.uk/Accessories/Items/ACC-002.htmlPlus, here's another source I found just after seeing rabid had started this thread, another US source of the one-inch hex black flight stands, just single stands though... All great sources! Do you have one that fits micro machines or how do you solve that problem?

All great sources! Do you have one that fits micro machines or how do you solve that problem? I either use the one-inch hex flight stand with a blob of blue/white tac, or I believe the old Gamescience stands from the Lou Zocchi starships than SFB minis used is nearly a perfect fit, even with its flat front to the peg. I used the one-inch stands for Silent Death minis and FASA minis like the D-7 which have lower nacelles than Starfleet ships like the Connie. What do other people use for their own minis?

Ok I'll try that!
Litko also sells thin sheets of plastic for modeling/repairs and plastic filler.
Looks like we have everything we need so far for professional mounts for game play.

The Studio Bergstrom flight stands and bases are awesome! The tips are kind of brittle though so watch for tight fits. Also some minor fitment issues with their own models, but generally resolved post painting. Give them a try! With a little finagling I was able to get a fantasy flight peg to fit into their base, and they fit the litko "peg toppers". They are are a bargain, too.
So far this looks like the easiest way to import your Star Trek: Attack Wing minis into the FASA game. Get the SB flight stands and combine with the peg toppers from Litko.

Have done this successfully. Didn't even know they existed, and now I do.
