Sweet, it's just about what I was thinking it would be. Always did love a good "bi-plane"!

LOL (sites soviet military aircraft designations by NATO) lol That's true. However, I just think that name just says 'meh' to me, and this design does NOT deserve 'meh', even from a Starfleet designation! When you look at either the traditional class types, either from the TV shows or FASA/SFB (Bird of Prey, Warbird) and your names from this thread, such as Scouthawk, Strikehawk and Warhawk, they suggest a function or sound martial, even Stormbird, which comes from FASA. Fish-hawk just doesn't fit that in my eyes! And seems against the run of the style of the rest of your names eg; Khazara class Warbird etc. This design deserves a <insert class name here> class nnnnnHawk designation! 😎😎😎😎

Just throwing my 2 cents in, but Hawkeye would seem somewhat appropriate to me, I see a hawk or eagle head with at least one major eye in the upper structure and can imaging the lower structure being seen as the lower portion of the beak. and to further play into the hawkEYE name, it could be a Romulan version of an AWACs module.

Something the Tal Shi'ar might employ to disturb the Klingons at the very least?

I could see that as a Starfleet designation till they found the actual Romulan class name and type. As it says in the Romulan Ship Recognition Manual for the V-8 Bird of Prey class from the "Balance of Terror" episode... "The class is named for the Romulan vas hatham (bird of prey), in reference to a huge, flying predator reportedly native to Romulus, but so revered that they have been transplanted to several of the conquered worlds in the empire."
