Good Lord, DrX I have no idea...I don't stat things like that...if you want to take a shot at it, go ahead. The general idea is that they would be refinements of the FWG series, so up the cruise/max a factor or so and increase the efficiency number say 10-15%. Maybe also give them an additional 2-3 points or so per nacelle power points.

I know it's been a LONG time since I posted. Lost my muse AND lost access to my primary graphics program because I changed OS and they're not compatible. I have a new one that kind'a works for most things, and I was playing with it and the following came out: Attachments:

Nice to see those NuTrek nacelles being used!

Did it again with the nacelles flattened (about 25% IIRC). I think it looks even better... Attachments:

The compliment is appreciated, but don't expect much...I had a minor bout of inspiration. Looking back over my files, I have in the neighborhood of 200 designs under my belt, give or take a few. There's only so many ways to put a saucer and a few cylinders together, and I mostly suck at freehand drawing even when I have the right program to do it. Thanks again for the kind words...

I'm glad to see you are back. The larger secondary hulls and wider saucer allows the nacelles to look more balanced.
If reminds me a bit of a proto-Vengeance from the side view--very solid nacelle support treatment

I think giving the nacelle a vertical "squish" more than anything helped balance it...otherwise the fore end is just too dang "fat".

Back for one quickie...experimenting with GIMP (I miss Paint.Net). "First draft" of the Constitution class, c.2225. Credits on image.

I just love that. Like Vengeance--the neck dorsal is staggered.

I've never really messed with Kalvindar's parts before but they work well enough.

Outstanding images. If control sheets exist for any of these can we get game counters of them? Again great work.

Ian,
You've hit a couple more home runs here. Especially love the Constitution concept ship.
Keep it up and good to see you again.

Just dropping by for a look-see and thought I'd post a doodle I did. One view only. I've been playing (and thinking about) Star Frontiers these days. A ST universe where there is no AG and they have to use constant acceleration thrust for simulated gravity between warp jumps.
