I want to see how good some of you guys are at identifying something from history... Anyone who knows World War II history will now that this beast is from the M4 Sherman medium tanks used by the Allies, but do you know what model it is?

Is it supposed to be an M4A3E2 with the extra armour?

That it is, It is the M4A3E2 "Jumbo" assault tank, that was a field expedient that was created after the T14 assault tank project was cancelled...VERY GOOD JOB!!!

Looks like a T30 project from the muzzle break, the one in the background may be the T29?
T29 had 105mm gun T30 had 175mm gun

It is the a T29 with the 105mm gun, The T30 actually carried a 155mm gun, the T34 from the series carried 120mm gun

Still say its the T30, the barrel is thicker than a 105 would be. But its not worth arguing about as its a graphical representation not an actual photograph and artistic licence has to be allowed. As an aside what game do these images come from?

I have to stand corrected: The lead tank in the column is a T34 armed with a 120mm, Second is the T30 armed with the 155mm, and there is also a T29E3 with a range finder and 105mm bringing up the rear of this platoon... The smaller tank on the other road is a M26 Pershing armed with a 90mm gun..
