Hello all! Many of you will have seen my recent thread about this design under Models and Modelling: link- But I thought I would also share the 3 View I created from the 3D file: I've always liked the D10. It's a very logical development of the shapes and forms of the D7, but expressed as a bigger, meatier vessel. On mine, as you can see, I made quite a few changes; she now sports a 'deckhouse' at the aft, and the main hull's 'wings' are more distinct from the interconnecting central section. Also, the nacelles have dropped clear of the hull, so they now obey 'Roddenberry's Rules' regarding nacelle placement. Personally, I think it's a change that improves the D10's 'Klingonyness'. I hope you like her. I'll post some more 3-views as I progress through the 3D sculpts. Cheers! - Martin

great work!!! ...I too always liked the d-10,but I also felt it needed something (more to the "head" me thinks) as I felt it needed its own identity rather than a re-use of the d-7.

The D10 always seemed underpowered to me due to the nacelles being the same size as the D7. Larger Nacelles = happy happy joy joy

Thanks for the comments, all!
I'll have to do some 3 views of my D18, too.
And the Ark Royal... the Loknar... Arrow class... L-13...
oh dear...

As I've said elsewhere, I always thought the D-10 was a little fugly...but this looks halfway decent! Good work!

Nicely done! we "Fixed" the d-10 by adding a reliant/nebula style weapons pod...also it really needs the l-24 shields, impulse engine and torps.
But again like so see someone creative breathing life into these designs. I could see this flying into combat in the movies and it would be right at home.

The miniature version that'll be available through Bergstrom Miniatures will be approx 90mm long (1/3125th) or 76mm (1/3788th).
