I am wondering what the ols scale was for the starfleet battles SL2200 Series and if I remember the LE2300 was compatible? I know the ships were slightly Smaller and harder to assemble as they came in a lot of small pieces. But then I did like a challenge when my hands were still steady and my site was better!!

Okay perhaps I should be more specific. I know that the ADB Starfleet BAttles ships are in 1/3788 Scale, FASA was in 1/3900 scale, what I want to know is what were the scales for the ADB Starfleet BAttles ships when they were in where they called SL2200 ANd LE2300 Series? Thanks

All "Classic" (tm) SFB minis were 1/3788. There was a short-lived fleet scale line (not sure about the actual scale - MUCH smaller) and there is the newer line in 1/3125. I'm not aware of any ship scale between those two.
I should add that the original scale was defined by the scale of Colonel Lou Zocchi's miniatures for the old Star Fleet Battle Manual.

The ones i have were of the SL2200-LE2300 Designation and seem to be smaller than the 2400 series they have now. Do not see how the scaled could be the same, unless some one messed up. How ever thanks for the input

How ever thanks for the input That seems odd. I'm sure I've heard that there may have been shrinkage in the molding process though. P!us, the original SL2200 mini of the original Klingon F5 frigate was redesignated as the E4 escort and a bigger F5 mini created. Can you list what minis from ADB you have, plus any size discrepancies between ranges you've found?

Just to make sure - here's their site: Star Fleet Battles - MiniaturesAs noted above, some of the minis were redesigned over the years. The Klingon F-5 (now E-4) is a good example. Also, there is a different model for the Federation Frigate and the Gorn ships have changed a fair bit over the years.

Yeah, I'd forgotten about those. The Gorn minis became one piece. The D-7 also became one piece, and the proportions changed slightly as well. Any changes will probably be obvious, so if you have SL2200 minis, you will see the difference compared to the ships in the SL2400 listings on their store. These days, ADB are concentrating on getting new minis out via Shapeways, but are still selling the metal minis, as that store listing will show.
