Star Trek Discovery was seriously disappointing in story and vision to me, and it I'm sure there are fans out there, I'm not here to debate its merits. However, in all this extra free time I managed to re-draw the Walker class in a more conventional aesthetic, and to better coincide with FASA's Four Years War timeline. I did have to make few compromises and blend the standard STCS charts and Steve Bacon's pre-TOS charts. Personally, I think it worked out ok, but it's slightly overpowered for the beginning of the Four Year's War. Oh well. You can find it here: ST Pre-TOS Walker Class VII-VIII Light Cruiser

Not too shabby Thanks mate! Although theres a terrible typo someone caught on another board. Its supposed to be named after Joseph Albert Walker (February 20, 1921 – June 8, 1966) (Capt, USAF) was an American World War II pilot, experimental physicist, NASA test pilot, and astronaut. I'll upload a corrected version soon.

I usually do a bow, lateral, and a dorsal view- the traditional FASA style. In this case, I did two sets of each because the ship changed so much cosmetically between upgrades. And for whatever reason my re-upload with the corrections didnt take for some reason. <sigh>

I did a re-draw of a Romulan scout from the war era that I did a few years ago. I never got the look I wanted and just left it . I've been on an Enterprise look lately, so I tried to capture that feel a little. I didn't use Steve Bacons charts this time because I didnt use them for any of the other ships I made for the Enterprise era. Star Trek Enterprise Romulan Prey Seeker Class IV Scout
Very nice. I was going to say it's a bit different from the standard Daedelus layout, but was the lowering of the primary hull sphere a deliberate choice as part of the Enterprise aesthetic you were going for?
Thanks! But I don't take credit for much of that look. Obviously, the original was the Matt Jefferies. The engines are modified from the Intrepid class (ST:ENT) and the lowered primary was inspired by EC Henry's design in Pacific 201. If you haven't seen his designs, check them out. I think Trekyards did a couple specials on YouTube about his Pacific 201 designs.

Will have to have a watch to see if I've also watched the Trekyards videos, can't recall.

These are impressive! Please post more!
Also where did you get the MCP's you are using? Those look very efficient.

Thanks! I've got a few more I'm getting around to.
I can't take credit for the MCPs, however! Its been a few years, but I think they're mockup copies of ones I got from tacticalstarship.com that I incorporated into an excel program. The program fills in the MCPs as the ship is designed- quite a time saver!

Another set of interesting takes on the Crossfield class, TOS style. A different take than than one I found on YouTube, by Howard Day... ...but I like how you imply development from the Baton Rouge class. By the way, ufc465537, thinking this was a new thread, I started to look at the links at the start of the thread, but I'm getting error 404 codes.

Hey trynda, Thanks for the kind words! Yeah, when I first saw the Discovery, it struck me as a cross between the Ralph McQuarrie (sp?) design and the Baton Rouge, so I ran with it. A few minor tweaks of Neale's toolkits and viola, there it was. I do like that take from the YouTube video, tho. Looks a lot more like the McQuarrie design IMO- very excellent! Yeah, all my links go back to my old site, which the provider went belly up. All the stuff is available on the new site: ufc465537.neocities.org/index.htmlSpecial shoutout to Mark Xon for retooling my website and all his content contributions!

For me I love all this! But my hands DOWN fav on your site is the Tepool! I made a custom Mk-IV version that had late TMP era tech installed in an alt reality where the borg showed up and i ran a wolf359 like scenario. Was quite fun!
