I was running a Klingon campaign years (and years) ago and I was a little tired of the players knowing every in and out of every Federation and Romulan ship I could throw at them (thus is the problem with a small group of players who also play Federation and Romulan characters). So I cobbled up a mini of a Kinshaya globe ship using the sparse information on them.
The Klingon book describes the globe ships as being superior to even the D-7A (at that time) and since the campaign was shortly after the FYW, I tried to balance the stats against the best the Klingons had to offer. If the Kinshaya used a more disciplined military doctrine instead of attacking bezerker style like the book says, they should have been able to take out the Klingons, so if the stats seem a little steep for the era, I tried to keep that concept in mind.

Now I didn't put in all the dipsy-doodley stuff like the computer type and the shield generator type because, quite frankly, it isn't important. Neither is the weapon type designation. What was important was WHAT the weapon was. I calculated the WDF of these weapons, which is included below, as well as the damage curve for the plasma weapon, which I figured would be somewhere between the Romulan type 1 and 2 (since it was supposed to be of superior damage capability).
