I came across this video last night, by Howard Day (that's the channel name also). Amazing little fly-around scene involving a Klingon D-7! Have a look at his other Trek videos, there's a couple more nice Klingons and also Starfleet designs, including a proper TOS looking Crossfield class (the Discovery)! No, don't run away, it looks cool, honest!

Looks cool! I'll have to take a look at his channel. The Archer scout looks bigger than I expected if it's correctly to scale.

Is it just me or does that "Crossfield" look a lot like a Marklin?

Ah. Ok. Since I refuse to watch Discovery on personal grounds, I wouldn't know. So the Archer looks like a Marklin (or vice versa). I really need to find someone who can print me a few Marklin minis. You know, to add to the 1000+ I already sitting on a shelf.

I was going to supply a link to one I got, but why not get it from a fellow forum member. Slightly cheaper too (nice pricing, JAFisher44)! So, there is rampant I.P. theft on Shapeways. Please do not buy my models from other sellers. I have not given anyone permission to sell my models.

Just checked, definitely got them nearly three years before you uploaded your model.

I don't hold it against anyone who has purchased them before now. Many people will not have any way to know it's my stolen work. I'm just asking that if you guys see this post to keep in mind that people have stolen most of my sketchup models and put them on Shapeways against my wishes. I'd prefer that people not buy them, especially if I'm offering the same ship for sale.

There has been another Trek 25A video posted. Orions on the forum should feel threatened!

For those on the forum like JAFisher44 who like their 3D creation, there was a creation video on Howard Days' channel, showing the building of a TOS-era version of a Hornet class Light Cruiser (similar in style to the perimeter action style vessels with the partial saucers). Warning, it IS three hours long, but I thought people might like to see it. Scroll near the end to see the finished vessel.

I also came across this, from another YouTuber. It's another interpretation of a 60s style Discovery, which is really short!

In looking at this thread for it's TOS version of the Crossfield class by Howard Day for a reply in the thread "UFC Shipyard II" by ufc465537 in the '3-aspect Custom Ships' subboard, I noticed the quoted short video above has disappeared. But I found this one to replace it, it's a bit longer, the first one was about 6-7 seconds long!
