SITZKRIEG! From a conversation on my minis thread... ststcsolda.proboards.com/thread/106/trynda1701s-ststcs-minis-cheat... here's a couple of quotes from page 9 which describes what FASA minis I think were modified, having seen most versions... I didn’t know the citadel fasa ships were modified from the originals. Were the nacelles on all the ships beefed up or just the Connie refit and chandly. Does anyone have any more pictures comparing the ships? Anyone use the furuta Japanese models for gaming? I think some tng sized ships would be close to the same scale The Citadel Klingon D-7 is one piece compared to four(?) for the FASA one. The Klingon Bird of Prey is three piece instead of six possibly? On the FASA one, the disruptor cannons are separate from the wings, whereas they are less detailed but part of the wing on the Citadel version. I think(?) the Reliant is beefed up compared to the FASA one, but I don't have any of the FASA ones. For all the ships I mentioned above, check earlier in this thread for pics of the Citadel versions. I made specific notes when I posted pics if it was a Citadel version over the FASA variant. It was part of the reason I created this thread as a resource for fellow FASA gamers. ...hope this helps people. Of course, if anyone has additional information on this subject please let us know.
