The Rocketeer-Class came online in 2243 as a 0Xe Light Cruiser with 6 fighters and 3 shuttles, and participated in the retaking of Hydra, being small, but with decent power and maneuverability. 19 were built and used both alone and in groups, and it's original name, that of an almost unpronouncable Duke who led a Blacksmith Guild a millennium ago, was replaced with "Rocketeer", as UFP and Klingon intelligence found the ship to look unusually like primitive chemical rockets of their early history. The Rocketeer-Class was upgraded in 2273 when it was noticed that the ships could be cheaply refitted and continue on for around 30 more years, but were getting outdated, and thus, were enlarged, with much more durable hulls, improved Warp Engines and shies, and twice as many Fusion Beams of the improved HFB-3 type used on the Ranger- and Knight-Classes. 10 were upgraded and 4 were built, soon engaging the Klingons and Lyrans in 2277, and as the Hydrans lost their capital again, all but 6 of the class were destroyed, the remaining 6 rejoining the rest of the fleet in the Lost Colonies, and later helping to retake Hydra in 2293, being retired in 2308.

The Hydrans used the Planck-Class to test the first Hellbore; - the HHB-1, a mediocre-accuracy, but somewhat decent damage weapon. The Class's name was something very similar to "Planck", that the actual word itself was accidentily used instead, and it stuck, the actual ship having little to do with Max Planck. 21 Plancks were built and in service from 2267 to 2307, being light and very easy to maintain, with strong, but power-consuming shields.

The Pegady was based off of several older Light Cruiser and Destroyer Classes, and hastily put into production in 2282 in an attempt to have large numbers of ships fighting-ready for the General War. Only 4 of these were completed, 1 under construction was destroyed in October 14th, 2283, when Klingon D-14s destroyed a small shipyard, and 2 under construction were halted and cannibalized to provide parts for other ships. All 4 fought madly, wearing out more quickly as is typical of War Cruisers, and 2 were destroyed in 2292, the other 2 retired in 2298.

The HMNS Hegemony was built in Independence Universe, when the Hydrans, desperately trying to get back their core systems, contracted with a large band of over a thousand Nausicaans to build a joint alliance warship to lead the main assault, and to fool the Klingons into thinking that they were allied with a much larger and more menacing star nation. The Hegemony was devastating and powerful when it came online, using Phase-Disruptors, Fusion Beams and Accelerator Cannons, and succeeding at freeing Hydra in 2295.

The Salish and Western Salish (Some call the latter the "Salish", which could actually be the Hydran word for "Chosen, or Prime Warrior", "Syvrish", but to denote them, the class is deemed "Western Salish") both entered service in 2271, and were used to supplant four classes of older Cruiser still on deployment, while supplementing Ranger and Dragoon ships for deployment elsewhere. There have been 17 Salishes and 23 Western Salishes, all of which rely on the same HH-6 Phasers and HFB-4 Fusion Beams, for their good accuracy, and have pretty durable hulls and maneuverability. The last of both classes were withdrawn from service in 2351.

The smallest Command Cruiser in History, the Pharaoh-Class was developed on August 20th, 2282, and like the Cygnus-Class Scout of the Federation, is used as both a Command Ship and as a Courier, with 8 of the Class being built and in service until 2332.

The Electra-Class was developed to update the fleet, with older proven systems around a new "main gun" forward Hellbore, and sleeker, more nimble spaceframe, the first coming online in 2288, and production commencing at 7 per year, a total of 65 being built.
