Reshade can be used to improve games that use APIs that use OpenGL, DirectX 9, DirectX 10/11/12 and Vulkan protocols; and with a modified d3d8.dll it can convert DirectX 8 to to use DirectX 9 shaders...

It really does improve games...downside is it can tank framrates on low memory computers.
