Some thoughts on FASA ship design with some modifi

Ok, i have been going over this incomplete project of mine. I am finally to a point in my life that i can resume and finish out the Federation part of it. I am also starting the reading and research i need to work on the Klingons next.

It has been four years since i last really worked on this. i apoligize for that. My wife became very ill and i lost her two years ago, that left me with hardly any desires to work on much, but i am starting back into my hobbies and i realize i need to finish this project. I hate things that aren't completed so bare with me over the next few days and we might just wind this one down...

I wonder if an interstellar ramjet--if accelerated, might actually be more conventional--maybe a true ramjet after all? Or an ever better "brake" allowing hydrolox refueling.

I am getting back an interest in the history of ships and so on in the FASAverse...i am going to restart this project and finish out the Federation...then I am going to start a study of the Romulan ships and figure out the things in their history that might have sparked the need for their modern class of ships@@@@

So I just thought I would give this thread a bump...

I am bumping this post, in preparation for another of my thoughts on the Four Years War (FASA version). The write up, on this thread, is my take and study of how the FYW set up the political and military influences of the 2260s and beyond throughout the Kirk era. You can see in this write up of how Star Fleet was preparing for a hot war with either the Klingons or the Romulans. This was my thoughts on how that War made Star Fleet a true military force in the design of its ships.
