Amazing as always,Atolm. Looks like a D'Deridex variant with FASA styling ala the Winged Defender class!
Looking forward to seeing the other views.

I really like this design! Its probably my all time favorite Rommie ship now. I was a little sketchy with the side view, but its grown on me- well done!

I can imagine the screen of the Enterprise D, this gloriously fel and impressive ship decloaks into view. External view: dwarfs the enterprise. Cut to bridge Picard (under his breath): *mummy!*

I find your work amazing. Now we just need stat's in a pdf and counters to put them to the test.

I like the basic design, but I think the beak should be closed.

I was just getting ready to Stat this all out - turn it B&W etc when I noticed the size you'd suggested. I think it might be a bit too small... At 500 m shes a bit small compared to the classic Warbird. However, I think if you go in the opposite direction - you end up with something that seems more like an "Air Force One" kinda deal... Of course the larger size has a HUGE effect on the overall class of the ship - crew, weapons, power - all that kinda jazz... Not sure which fits you original idea best.

Excellent work so far mate And yeah, I wanted her to be large, but not too huge. Even at some 500m(feel free to modify the size a bit as it does not need to be a round number)she is big, a Gal is around 690m...so not too small. Think of it as a cruiser, she is a capable ship, but not a warbird. The ship's overall shape is what is supposed to make an impression, not her overall scale.

Maybe there's a Gouda class shuttle flying to a Fox class shuttle carrier.
That's enough "Aesop" making bad puns now.

OK! Did a write up - but I'm not sure it's worthy of your amazing design... fasaststcs.com/index.php/thefleets/romulan-star-empire/v-65-saeihralha-class-xv-command-cruiser/Feel free to be critical and let me know what (if any) changes you think should be made. I will say this - after looking at the top and side views - I REALLY like the aft section and it's resemblance to a more angular version of a Warbird. In fact - for some reason I see it as a smaller version of the Warbird - which lead to the idea that the A-Type Warbird is similarly shaped but smaller than the B-type. Quick question - over on TrekBBS I saw this little number: Any chance you've done a side view of the wings? I'm totally loving the simplicity yet awesome look of this one - I can see 3 or 4 different ships being created from it (we need more Roulans!!) But I wouldn't DARE try and do the wings you have - I'd butcher the hell out of em! Anyways! Thanks again - let me know what you think!

Quite detailed. I also liked how you put in the Gorns into it as well, for I sense there isn't enough mention of them in backstories. Congratulations on this effort!

Thanks Brickwall! The original FASA maps had the Gorn and Romulans along a mutual boarder. I really wish we had about 10-20 more angular FASA style Gorn ships as we want to do a scenario pack similar to the Whiteflame. That ANOTHER reason I LOVE Atolm's work - he does a number of classic style Romulans that would be perfect for such a work.
Of course I ALSO wish there were about 20 Andorian ships - a half dozen Nausiccan ships - oh man - I got a list of "wishes"...
Anyways - thanks again. I'm hoping to get more of Atolm's work up with some nifty back stories and the like.

And as a possible future project, perhaps you might do a scenario pack using the New Factions we have here on the Forum. For example the Sathar Territories of TheScreamingSwede or Gorn's Venturi people. And yes -- mea maxima culpa -- the Kephan Unity as well. Or maybe cook up something with the First Federation. You know, those guys with the huge globes-within-a-globe ships from the TOS episode "The Corbomite Manuever". Something like that. Many thanks again for your excellent work!

Thant's some Great stuff brickwall! I liked the write-up very much. I do not have a winged side view of that bop, but I might be able to provide one for you.

Thank Atolm! The more I look at it - the more I realize that it could be several classes/ new ships. Couple of destroyers - a light cruiser - perhaps an escort...
And I STILL think that the Saeihr'alha mid and back sections look like a cool A-Type warbird - smaller, more angular that kinda thing. Thanks for all you do Atolm - your work continues to inspire!
Brickwall - I'm hoping to streamline my PDF's and Excel spreadsheets that I personally use so that others will be able to create their own scenario books. The problem is that things like Word and PowerPoint are limiting when it comes to desk-top publishing. With PDF's - you can put in all the background layout and the like - making it LOOK good - but it's even more limiting on adding in text. However - perhaps in a couple of months I can relook at the old sheets I used to have (back before InDesign, Photoshop etc!)

First step to creating the Praetor's Glory... the V-63 (SARTORIX) CLASS XV HEAVY CRUISER.... Although, I might do the Praetor's Glory with a modified Wing set up... Or both... not sure yet.
