A Siegeship? Another new class of ship like the earlier Battlebarge? Does the Siegeship do something like planetary bombardment duties only? Or does it have a wider set of duties also? This class definitely needs a backstory and stats. PLEASE! |

I would suspect that a "Siege Ship", "Battle Barge" or "Assault Ship" would be meant for invasion work - along with a Troop Ship.
One might be optimized to carry weapons suitable to pound a space station, while another might be mainly meant to get the warriors to the surface (lots of transporters and shuttles).

Well - the main issues with ST: D are not the crappy ship designs but rather, the crappy writing and lack of intelligent guidance. John Eaves is a minor annoyance compared to the rest of it.

One thing for sure they are not likely to get mixed with the old TOS Ships. I am in kind of a shock looking at them, perhaps i will like them better as I see them more!

The paint jobs are really grabbing me... atolm are you looking for a shark vibe with that lateral sensor/projector/thingy on the TOS bird of prey? cuz it looks sharky to me. |
