Painting projects are coming along nicely. as it applies, does FASA have any set registry numbers for the ANDOR class? lol asking for a friend.

Painting projects are coming along nicely. as it applies, does FASA have any set registry numbers for the ANDOR class? lol asking for a friend. Can't say I remember seeing any Andors with registry numbers mentions in FASA material. I had a look at two sources quickly just now. One is JAFisher44 s' SketchUp thread from a few years back, but he didn't put any registry number on it. ststcsolda.proboards.com/thread/738/sketchup-andor-class-missile-cruiserAnother source was Trekipedias' FASA timeline, which has used multiple reference sources (Tech Manual, Spaceflight Chronology, which FASA used for their dates, Starfleet Medical Manual, and FASA sources themselves), but it only has this... trekipedia.com/file/U.S.S._AndorOne other source could be James Dixons' timeline, which uses MANY more multiple sources, from SFB, TV, Spaceflight Chronology, FASA, novels etc. Accordingly, there are supposedly at least three distinct timelines woven together, the original Spaceflight Chronology one, FASA itself, and the SFB timeline. Therefore, you might see multiple dates for the same event, but sourced accordingly. I'll have a look there and come back to you.

Ok, finally found an online copy of Dixons' timeline. Page 12 of 20 has the entry for the Andor being commissioned, and that doesn't have a registry against it... stng.36el.com/st-tng/trivia/timeline/trek7-12.htmlScroll down to find Reference Stardate 2/1806 (FASA commissioning date) amongst the Terran month entries. I can't seem to find a search function, and there are no linked entries like the Trekipedia timeline, so can't check for any more Andor class ship entries without manual scrolling. And there's a LOT in those 20 pages! Dixon was really interested in the tech side of things, so blueprints and Ships of the Fleet books and similar products were also used in this publication. If a Andor number was anywhere, it might be here in his timeline, unless someone doing a render arbitrarily assigned a registry number to their render. Of course, I don't think I've seen any FASA ships in such Fleet books. EDIT: Also note that this is supposedly version 7, and I've seen mention there's a version 17, dated 2004, but I can't find an online version of THAT one.In the end, of course, there are so many conflicting NCC number sources, try using something from the FASA suggested ship type list (cruisers are 1xxx - 1999?, destroyers are xxxx - xxxx), and even then, do the FASA numbers given in the Federation SRM adhere to it? It's your mini, so do what feels right, and hopefully you don't find something that then overlaps or contradicts it!

thanks for the research! I couldn't come up with anything but I was also not as thorough. I'm going to go witha 33** registry number series. I have a lot of leftover 3's.

Finally got some time to do some painting! Atolm drew this ship a long time ago I tried to match the paint job!ย If you look I matched the odd light blue on the impulse manifolds but it doesn't show up in real light.ย *cheers* atolm !ย ย Thanks @gidiotย
Also thanks to shiftdel for the Gorn BH2 and K'Teremny class cruiser. K'teremny isn't done yet it needs some blood red panels.ย I can't believe we drew a ship in 1991 and after all this time it's a miniature on the game board now! Here it is with a 1/3750 V-27. macrossmartin ย here is the studiobergstrom l-13 fat man along with a D-7A cruiser. Nice work on all these ships!ย It took frapping forever to find the paint match with the micro-machines paint scheme. (citadel administratum grey for light grey and dawnstone grey for the darker grey). The green is testor's "Sublime green".ย Bergstrom's model is THE BEST in 1/3788 and 1/3125 scale.ย Unless he makes this a 3d file i wouldn't bother printing it yourself. Same with the D-10 and K-27.ย These are excellent models and frankly pewter takes acrylic paint so much better than plastic it's a no-brainer.ย
Also a 1/3900 Gallant wing (Citadel grey seer primer with vallejo transparent blue), the Furuta Enterprise B and a 1/3750 Romulan Nova from shapeways.ย Is this the "Lost Era" war bird? you Tell me!ย The War Falcon fits in really well, even at this scale it is almost "omni-scale" and looks great next to the enterprise-B (Furuta pictured here) or next to the Romulan Nova, or the Hallmark Warbird or Eaglemoss Warbird.ย Both are close enough for government work.ย This should be the ship at Narendra III.ย ย This is the ship that CAPT Sulu was hunting for behind every nebula, that is,ย after Kirk disappeared.ย Finally here are the results of an lot Of time and effort could t wait to share: this has a deep cuts K'Tinga (me and my bro blasted a whole k'tinga model kit with flat olive drab when we were kids, not knowing any better. This has the same paint scheme.) Also an Attack Wing Bird Of prey (with added Decals.)ย This is TOO SMALL for comparison with the micro machines TOS enterprise but close enough. It looks better next to the enterprise than the micro machines bird of prey. Then the FASA White Wind (Green with red and yellow feathers).ย Next is the Micro-Machines NCC 1701-1 and another micromachines enterprise that I repainted with some light grey primer plus decals. ย Actually prefer mine to the OG Micro-Machines, even if the decals are off a bit. i did impulse engines, a decal for the neck windows and the photon bay.ย next up is my ABSOLUTE Favorite fan ship, the Belknap! Also for those who care, I just got promoted to Lieutenant Colonel (Commander for you navy swabs) and I get to go see my old CG get retired next week. Thanks all! Stay posted, and if you see any of atolm's ships in 3d format please let me know.ย
