Do people remember on the old forum that someone posted a few descriptions of some of the Federation ships from the SRM that didn't have full write ups. You know, along the lines of "Of the xxx <insert class name here> built, xx Mk Is and xx Mk IIs remain in active service" sort of thing.
I especially remember the Brenton class had a cool write up, giving a rational for the stretched widthwise primary hull. Is the original author here, because I can't remember who posted them. Whoever it was, you should re-post them here for posterity. Or does anyone have copies of the posts perhaps, that they could re-post and credit to the original author?

Ah, not what I was thinking it was, meteo. That's just your NCC lists.
Anyone else remember what I'm talking about? There was a Brenton class write up, a Durrett class as well, I think, and a couple more if I remember correctly?

I think the fellow you were looking for went under the name of chesterbelloc, or something to that effect. He was doing something called The Kephan unity, a splinter group in the Triangle. I remember him expanding on some of the write-ups for a few of my smaller, more modern designs and trying to work them into his "unity".

I know what your talking about. Rejum (not sure if right but know it started with an R) did several rightups about several of the Federations Ships with a lot of back stories. The Brenton with the wide hull, The Derf and how a small repair fleet fought off a klingon Battle (remember because the comander had a picture of Tracy Lords on his ship). He did about 6 or so of these writeups with lot of detail. I do not have them on my laptop...but I THINK I may have them on my home desktop. I will look to see this evening.

trekcrossHmmm, Rojem rings a bell, now you mention that 'R' name. It would be cool if you did have them, and could repost them with appropriate credit. I think that most of the recent prolific posters from before the restart have made it across. As I've said, I posted the new forum links on all the FASA Yahoo Groups I'm a member of, as well as over on the Starship Combat News forum, TrekRPGNet, The Miniatures Page and a couple of others places with interest in starship combat. The only other poster from recent times I haven't seen is drock (Dallas Rhienhart?) and I've put out a shout on the Yahoo Groups for him as well. nope. :-( I searched my home, work, flashdrives and my ST Portable Hard drive. I could not find them anywhere. And I know I copied them at one time.

I'm bumping my thread here after noticing that drock has made it back to the forum.  Is there a chance you could post your write ups for your Orion upgraded Klingon vessels that you did over on Morena (D-4's, D-7's and D-16's)? They deserve to be posted here for posterity. I loved the back stories you came up with. Plus, anyone else new here, did you by chance back up the write ups by rojem that I originally posted about? Mark |

I remember the Brenton class getting a writeup that explained the reason for the wide primary hull, trekcross remembers the Derf tender getting a similar style writeup. There were probably a few others.
It would be cool if you had copies of these. Post a list of what you have.
