I think that every time someone on the forum annoys you, you should put up a picture of attractive Star Trek Cosplayers. I find it puts a smile on my face.

Just FYI, this forum used to have a thread devoted to posting pictures of girls. There were no rules and naked pictures were posted. Proboards, apparently, does not allow that in their terms of use and Brad was issued a warning. We walked it back to SFW rules, everything had to be covered and we did abide by those rules and still they told us to stop. After that Brad removed the thread completely and we haven't had a thread for posting pics of women since. I'll leave this post because it is related, but this thread is not going to be any sort of "post girls here" thread.

Agreed... SFW should be the rule here. BUT... I never specified "Women". There are a few fun "Captain Kirks" out there. Perhaps we should amend the topic to "Cute and amusing Star Trek Cosplayers". I'll always welcome comedic value. Actually... How 'bout anything (SFW) that is Trek Related and brings a smile to your face?

Um...ahh... Trek Bunnies? Hmmm.... Notice no Andorians or Tellarites among them. And nary a Bajoran either. Shame on you, Federation!

Ask, and ye shall receive Bajoran, Andoian, and a Trill (from the mirror universe) Sadly, not in Bunny outfits.

You have to respect on a certain level anyone that wears a form fitting outfit with those particular forms.

Agreed. There are less-flattering pictures I could have posted, but those folks all seemed rather serious. I won't post stuff like that - no need to humiliate someone. These guys don't seem to be taking it all that seriously, they are just having fun being Trekkies.

OK... more work garbage... and Gorn PM'd me... So... As I stated, there is no need for this to be all cute girls. This guy (or his mom) did some nice work on the old Dress Uniform (much nicer than the silly TNG dress uniforms). She seems nice as well...

The dress dresses with panty hose of the first couple seasons of TNG would have caused a mutiny in any actual service. I don't know what sort of crack the wardrobe department was using when they came up with those jokes, but I hope it was worth it for the humiliation of creating the most ridiculous uniforms of all time. However, by season 7, those white dress uniforms were spectacular. That was a uniform I'd been proud to wear.

The first Dress Uniform was pretty dumb... AND they also pulled stuff like this: WHY? The Dress Whites were actually pretty cool.

Ya, caitians are really the female's equivalent of "Orion Slave Girls" in terms of fantasy fulfillment.

I guess the script writers of Trek wouldn't know how to craft a female Tellarite in the first place. Though that would make an interesting thought-experiment. BTW, the Andorian lady in the picture looks very pretty.

So hard to find Tellarite cosplayers. Although I have seen plenty of cosplayers with the correct body type, they always seem the least likely to dress the part. I will be attending a local anime convention this weekend, and there are always Trekkies there (there is not Trek Anime, but there is Trek manga, so they are covered). I took my avatar picture there last year - I'll keep an eye open for tellarites this weekend. And, YES, the Andorian lady is quite lovely.

STO has female Tellarites that are sufficiently ghastly.

They may be "ghastly" to you but, what about a male Tellarite...hmmm?
