The Trekkies of Anime Weekend Atlanta.Well, The convention has ended :.( I did manage to get a few pics of Trekkies, even though it was an anime convention.  This guy's wife made him a ST:II uniform. She did an excellent job. _  These two gals were in the main hall outside the dealer room.  This charming Vulcan was looking out of over "The Pit" (Food court on 1st floor). It was about 14:00 on Friday, so it was pretty busy downstairs. Saturday the entire hotel and convention center were NUTS!

And now Anime Weekend Atlanta Trekkies, part II:  This guy was actually pretty cool. he was a nerd of the highest order, so he was "My People". I actually have a next gen uniform somewhere - I just can't find it... and I'm too fat for it (it fit me about 20lb ago)  These two gals (many more ladies than guys cosplayed as Trek Characters) were in the tabletop gaming room I ran. Behind them is about 1/2 of our game library. About half of what you see is owned by the bald guy in the back. Very cool dude. |

Technically, we only know that Vulcan MEN have that limitation. Vulcan women might be sex fiends.

Wasn't it mentioned in an episode of Enterprise that Vulcan women also went through "pohn far"? After all, they're the same species, not different ones. So it seems even to some one like me that they'd have a similar limitation. |

So it seems even to some one like me that they'd have a similar limitation. I watched every episode of Enterprise, but only once and do not remember if they said anything about female Pon Fhar. However, I also know there was an episode where some Vulcans got stuck in Earth's past and one of the makes stayed behind to learn about humanity. So they totally crapped on the travel home every seven years thing, unless dude was ready to kick it after seven years. |

T'pol had pon far in enterprise in um...season 3 i think (though due to the exposure to that blue goo mineral thing) and in that one alt time line episode thingie with the NX-01 meeting their generational descendants t'pol mentions she banged trip (and/or i think implies archer too depends how you look at that half vulcan CO that replaced archer to me he looked more like archer's kid vs tripps ) |

I get the feeling that these girls had posed for a LOT of pictures by the time this one was taken. The "Captain" is posing ok, but the "Science Officer" is either extremely tired or bored and the "Yeoman" looks like a deer in headlights. Either that or they just got back from a hell of an away mission... |
